Dr. Carolyn F. Langford

Dr. Langford is a cum laude graduate of Rutgers University and graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Langford completed her Urologic Surgery Training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. During her training she was both Chief Intern and Chief Urology Resident. She then completed a 2 year fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in the specialty of Female Urology, Pelvic Floor Reconstruction and Male and Female Incontinence. During her fellowship she won international paper of the year for the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology. In addition to this she has been a guest speaker at numerous educational venues including the International Urogynecology meeting in Athens, Greece.

Among her special interests is the treatment of the entire pelvic floor as a whole as many of the urologic problems of incontinence and prolapse coexist. There have been countless advances in technique and materials that Dr. Langford keeps herself updated on by attending frequent specialty meetings. She is, one of a few doctors in Southwest Florida, chosen as a clinical instructor for other physicians by Boston Scientific.

Dr. Langford is Board Certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons.
